Science

Science is one of the core subjects of the National Curriculum.

At Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils build on their scientific knowledge and understanding and make connections between the three main areas of Science; Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

Pupils’ develop their ability to relate their understanding of Science to their own and others decisions about lifestyles and in particular to effects on the environment.

The minimum teaching requirement at Key Stage 4 is one Science GCSE. However, higher ability pupils’ may be able to attain up to 3 GCSE’s in the totally new AQA modular course we now teach.
