History
Pupils in Years 7,8 & 9 follow the National Curriculum programme of study for Key Stage 3. They study people, events and places in times past and discover the legacy of past civilisation to the present.
They are taught to select, interpret and evaluate historical evidence from a variety of sources and to look at history from a variety of perspectives.
Results of historical enquiry are presented orally, visually and in writing using a range of styles and techniques.
Particular attention is paid to the background of pupils, helping to raise their self-esteem by presenting Muslims in a positive light.
